About the Festival

The Romanian Film Festival aims to promote Romanian culture among film lovers in Lisbon. The first edition will take place in March 2026, serving as an invitation to open the cinematic horizons of the Portuguese audience and see the world differently. The program includes a wide range of emotions, present in dramas, comedies, and animated films. It will provide meetings with directors and actors, space for conversations, and various other surprises.

The Romanian Film Festival is organized by the Zvac group, which has already had the opportunity to unveil a bit of what the event will be in a short film session in November 2025, at Galeria Monumental in Lisbon. The session allowed for the discussion of each of the shorts with the audience and led to very interesting and diverse debates.
